why would they want people not to talk about it,if that's the case they should get on with appointing someone

The Premier League have sent a letter to each manager, reminding them that they're not allowed to link contracted managers to other jobs.
Fergie's reaction? He tells everyone about it, linking a contracted manager to another job.
Twat.
I don't think he did, though. The rest is all accurate but I thought the England players who came out said they wanted 'Arry were the worst, Rooney and Rio no doubt were given a nudge by SAF to do it.
SAF hasn't encouraged 'Arry to take the England job. If my memory serves me correctly, when he was asked shortly after Capello's departure, he said that 'Arry may feel he has unfinished business at Spurs. He said it won't be easy to leave Spurs when you've built of team that's capable of winning something, or words to that effect. He simply observed, as many other managers did in press conferences (and seems to be the general consensus of opinion anyway), that he was the best man for the job. The F.A have clearly taken exception to managers routinely expressing an opinion on the subject in press conferences when asked, not that any of the anodyne comments made will have any bearing on the appointment.
Its occured to me now that Levy has been as silent as the FA through all this.![]()
