The whole team, to a man played well today. We saw the real Adel and some good solid performances from many others. Nelsen, Hill, SWP and an honoury mention to Onouha who didn't put a foot wrong. It is only one win. But the ripples of the Redknapp effect are beginning to emerge, and the players and fans will respond to it. URsss.
Yeh SWP was good today. I don't remember whether it was Green punt or not, but me and the TV commentators were all having a good laugh when all 5 foot four of him beat seven foot four high Hangeland in the air.
Could not find this feat in the Premier League last season - had to go back to the Championship 2010/11 season when we went 5 games unbeaten. 12 April 2011 Barnsley 0 â 1 Queens Park Rangers 18 April 2011 Queens Park Rangers 0 â 0 Derby County 23 April 2011 Cardiff City 2 â 2 Queens Park Rangers 25 April 2011 Queens Park Rangers 1 â 1 Hull City 30 April 2011 Watford 0 â 2 Queens Park Rangers
Ok, well how many goals or assists has he got this season? "Shaun Wright-Phillips: 6 Offered little going forward but did get through some defensive work." That was the report ratings and sums up how bad he is, best game of the season and he still offered nothing going forward.
Let it go Flyer. We don't agree so fair enough. So where did you get those ratings then ? ' The Sun', 'The Mail' or 'The Times'......again just some Fleet Street hack whose opinions count for just that...opinions. Myself and a few on here think he had a good game, you of course think he had a poor game...that's our opinions mate.
It was from West London Sport. Im still waiting for anyone to tell me what he did in attack but no one can point out a single positive thing he did, that says it all.
Flyer, I think you might be getting me wrong here. I'm not saying the lad was outstanding, an attacking wizard and played world class yesterday. But what I am saying is give him credit where it is due. Don't get me wrong, I do like Hoillet and think he does offer more in an attacking sense BUT I still don't think you can say SWP was 'poor' yesterday.....it's just a bit unfair on the lad IMO. But as I've said before, it's only my opinion and its worth no more or less than yours ( btw, glad to see WE can have a difference of opinion like adults, without descending into abuse like its going elsewhere)
I have given him credit by saying he was better than usual but when his usual standard is abysmal, I think its pretty clear another option is needed. The good news is we can get so much better by replacing him with Hoilett and dropping Green for Cesar and Im so happy that we finally played a true 4231 instead of the boring, negative Hughes formations. As for the other thread, Im staying out of it!
