Was the ball clearly over? Unsure.

Not as clearly over the line as Johan Mjallby's effort which was 2 yards over v Motherwell at Fir Park in 2000.

If they say it evens itself out then we have about 54 years worth of luck and 'decisions' to get.

Remember the week before we won with a Larsson goal at St Johnstone the media said it didn't cross the line ,i admit it was close but was headlines for a week. Then as you say mjallby was 3 yards over the line no goal given hardly mentioned in press , ref that day Hugh Dallas

my imediate reaction was that it was a goal. i still think it was a goal,

was listening to the bbc sportsound podcast this morning and they were saying at the very least a sending off and down to ten. i was scratching my head as i didnt think it hit his hand and i cannot remember crocker saying that it hit his hand and should have been sent off

The ball struck Ledley, it certainly was no penalty as he deffinitely did not move his arm towards the ball.
It is debatable even to say the ball hit Ledley's armor hand, there is no evidence but it is clear he did not move
his hand or arm towards the ball.
If the ball was round, and you expect that particularly in the first minute, it is almost certain that although most of the ball may have crossed
the line it did not all cross the line.

Rangers fans find it hard to understand the new rules in Scottish Football. No longer are decisions made love of Rangers, Hearts and hatred
of Celtic. Decisions this year are mostly made on the Official rule book guidelines. Referees and assistants may get it wrong, they have got it
wrong against Celtic but this season for the first time they may just be trying to referee fair. We will know better as the season proceeds but
at least I don't expect a repeat of what happened at the en of last season.

When did Joe Ledley get an amoured hand?

    Surely that's an unfair advantage!

It was over the line, lhads.

You couldn't call it for sure in real time and there was Ledley and another Celtic player in the linesman's road.

I couldn't tell conclusively until the third or fourth replay when the froze it on the bounce and it was all over the line.

As Lennon said, we caught a break.

To be honest, it makes it all the sweeter for me.

Hearts fans jumping about, tannoy music on.

Music goes off and Jambo ****s stop jumping about just in time to see the ball break off Sammy to feet of the ex-Hibs captain (I was shouting at the telly "Go Celtic, score now, sicken the ****s") who tucks it away and gives the Broony large to the Gorgie end.

I jumped up and shouted "Yaaaassssss, get that right up yeez ya ****s" despite the fact that the toddler was just nodding off to sleep <laugh>

    I'm glad they should've got a goal - couldn't be any sweeter.

    ****in' love it.
