Seeing as they're little plastic cards I'd be very impressed.

No, no, no, no. Pass it to me and I'll see that I don't benefit from it, because I'll ensure I'm at work every time Saints play.

    Count on me..! ;)

Strange - because she is a freelance sports journalist who writes for The Telegraph on cricketing and sailing.

IF NC gives that man the keys to the safe heavan help even the rich Liebherrs. IF NC keeps a tight reign
on the purse strings then that man will lose interest very fast and bingo relegation time again.
I cannot bring myself to type his name I dislike him so much.

So we all now are coming to the point where we can see Adkins sacked ?

Cortese is probably reacting to fans pressure for better results and he thinks this is the right way to go about it , he is wrong but there we go .
Redknapp is a short term fix if at all , Adkins should not be sacked unti late Novemeber early December , before the transfer window as that is too late but enough time now to know he needs to improve or he will be gone , its a results business and he knows this but why Cortese and his purchases and lack of them havenot been questioned is beyond me , Adkins is a patsie .

The problem with the Cortese conspiracy is that it assumes that it doesn't really solve anything anyway.

Regardless of who was picking the team, whatever they were doing was working. People are saying that Adkins deserves more time because of what he's done, and we should trust him and let him stay the course or make changes as he sees fit for a while longer. I tend to agree. But if we suspect that Cortese has been calling the shots the whole time, then he should probably get the same benefit of doubt. Besides, what difference would it make if they changed managers because Cortese is the one calling the shots anyway.

I just don't see any way NC and Arry can work together. It would end in tears. Ours!

Would be a fantastic appointment. Any club in the premier league would be lucky to have him.

Sticking with Adkins, who is quite frankly out of his depth would be crazy if Redknapp would take the job.

Harry is a top man and I would be pleased to see him back at work at a good club like yours.

Trouble is Trixter he's tainted to a lot of us because of the way he left last time. Never been keen on his transfer dealings and can't see how he could work with our Chairman. Can't argue with what he did at Spurs though. Facrt is if it happens we will support it because it's our club!

FFS, this has to be bull, If it turns out be true, I'll become a Cherry.

My theory is it the Redknapp publicity machine in overdrive, he could'nt rob us under Lowe because Lowe was already paying himself and his chums over the top, maybe he feels he has a better chance under NC.

I don't hold a grudge. On the plus side, it may be easier for me to get away tickets as fans may start boycotting games! Harry Redknapp is a very good manager but if he takes us down again Cortese will have a lot of questions to answer.

I really do hope this isn't true. We all know the injury problems that are there right now, what we don't know is the players that Adkins identified over the summer that he felt he needed - we know that we missed out on Buttner but there may have been other defenders too. I can't see Redknapp being given any sort of control on purchasing by Cortese, it's just not the way that Cortese seems to do things. Cortese has done so much for the club in a very short space of time so I'm not going to criticise him over his handling of transfers or bringing his brilliant mind into the way things are run.
I for one will support the team through thick and thin but Redknapp will never get my support - he will bleed us dry and blame someone else - that is just the way he is, always has been. Just don't want him anywhere near our club!

I would rather go and watch Pompey than see this dodgy character back again as our manager and Pompey are my least favourite team in the whole world ever.

I have been saying for a long time that Nigel could do with a mentor and I would have thought WGS could be the answer.

Do you think Nigel could take the insult of having someone brought in to help him? The problem is that some of our players are not good enough and some of Nigel's apparently strange selections and substitutions are merely desperate attempts to cover for this. NA has not suddenly become a bad manager.

I never said that Fran. Nigel, Nicola and the players are having to learn fast about life in the PL and a mentor is someone you can turn to for advice and support in a new role. It happened to me in my first senior managerial appointment many years ago.

I don't want Nigel to be sacked or to leave as he is the best thing to have happened to Saints in a long time. If I was Nicola I would be doing all I could to support him and it was in that context that I made the remark.

Morning Godders agree with this. I'm sure there are things happening behind the scenes to maker sure Nigel has the back up he needs. Personally I think he's got another 5 or 6 games to turn it around and if he can't he might even hold his own hands up. He's a very honourable man and has stated that we won't be relegated under him. If he thinks he can't hack it yet he could walk!

People need to get over the grudge they have ove satchel face. not even mourinho would have kept us up that season, we were terrible and deserved to go down. it wasn't really Satchell's fault.
