Claims watching us win the Champions League was the worst moment of his football life.
Never mind taking Pompey down and having them go into administration, eh?
Sums him and his boy up to a tee, rather than be happy for their nephew/cousin they just think about themselves. Genuinely don't get why the media lap Redknapp up, he's an odious character and doesn't really have an impressive managerial record.
What got me though was Ruud Gullit and his passion for Chelsea. It's synonymous with almost all of that mid/late 90s side that still talk about Chelsea glowingly. I remember seeing JFH walking around before a home game with West Ham a few years back.
Even people that have been sacked by the club I.e Gullit, RDM, Vialli, Grant, Ranieri and others that have been cast aside seem to have a great affinity for the club and I'm not sure there are (m)any other clubs out there that have the same rapport with ex-players/managers. Even now we have Tore Andre Flo, Jon Harley and Jody Morris (the latter being boyhood fans of the club as well as ex-players) working as coaches within the club
There's always a lot of negativity surrounding this club in the media and bitter claims of being soulless but we are anything but.
