Looks like a reliable source you've found there. Why do you think transfer money spent is the only indicator of financial stability? I can guarantee our wage bill is a shocking amount lower than yours (which will more than balance out the transfer fees), plus we have money gained from big money sales - we picked up £12m up front for Alex Chamberlain not long ago. Plus your average attendance isn't far off half ours, that's a huge knock on income... yeah, I think we'll be balancing the books better than QPR this season.

It's funny that SB3 started all this hostility with what was an obvious wind up (as he always does on the boards of our next opponents), and yet some of the QPR board have fallen for it hook, line and sinker. Most of us either want QPR to go down because: a) they are our direct rivals in the relegation battle, or b) Harry Redknapp manages them. I don't think any Saints fans want ANY club to go out of business and any such comments are either just used as a wind up, or are just by the odd idiot who does not represent the Saints fans on this board. We have many reasons to dislike Redknapp and I don't think QPR as a club come into it at all. I agree that some of the songs created are a little distasteful, but most are tongue in cheek and I doubt there will be anything more derogatory chanted then at any other normal football match. It's quite clear who looks the biggest fool on this thread, and it certainly isn't any of the saints fans. It's not even SB3 over on the QPR board with an obvious attempt to stir things up....the sad thing here is that SB3's plan actually worked.

But they bought big-name 'quality' and we bought young nobodies....

.....which is why QPR are doing so well......

Stop changing the debate. i said you spent £30M on players, the other guy said i knew nothing about your club, he was wrong. As for source i have even read it in either The Times or Telegraph. It is about right.

    agree
agree but our ticket prices are a lot more than yours. Where you charged us £35 for 3100 fans we charge £45-50 for 3400 away fans. We also have some tickets that i have seen going for £60-70 home ends , so we are are talking peanuts here.

Maybe but look at other things like branding and sponsors. It's okay having 'bill's boat cruises' but we have 3 major sponsors as well as the merchandise Worldwide. In our pre season game (Malasia 40K turned up to watch a game and they sold out of QPR shirts. We signed Park and had record tredding on Twitter from South Korean fans who are buying our products.
Times have moved on in football and companies sponsors and branding brings in more money than 5-10K extra fans. <ok>

I vote that we let our teams battle it out on Saturday, & then the winner gets errr, bragging rights. Then little ming muffin can go look up our next fixture to find the next gullible chump to bite ala ellers. Don't get me wrong, its been fun, but its old now.

We had to spend because we are in the PL with basically our League 1 side due to back to back promotions. Our team as a whole cost little by PL standards and are on lower end wages. Doesn't matter what you spend if you can afford it. We are being run sensibly and have money behind us. QPR are similarly not in trouble if their owner carries on supporting them which he has said he will. Our beef is with Harry because he keeps pulling the wool over the media's eyes. If QPR go down, the media will not blame Redknapp, neither will he accept any responsibility. Ask Pompey fans.

I'm not quite sure why anyone is proud of charging a high price for a ticket either.

most trouble on the swans board was amongst themselves from what I could see
the swans fans come over to the QPR board far more often than Rangers seem to go over there

Well we don't need to charge ludicrous prices to make money from matches.
