He's meant to be there to offer insight that the common man wouldn't spot in attacking moves - little movements that make goals possible etc. Instead what we get is "the ball's come across and he's done great there to get it in the back of the net". Well, thanks for that Alan.
I do wish I had a way to watch MOTD without all the analysis in-between games. I already know about football, I don't need it explained to me.
The only way I can watch it now is to record it on my hardrive box then watch it Sunday morning and then only watch the games and forward through the rubbish.
