It'd be good to hear from someone who saw the game. Chris Kamara said that Birmingham weren't in our league.
....and we haven't been?, let's keep our feet on the ground otherwise it will be all doom and gloom on here come next week!.
I was and we were but they still had some decent chances from set pieces and some woefully slack passing. Going forward it was 100 times better than Charlton.
Granted he was on the field for the Reading and Derby losses, but I think we miss Joey Barton's on-field communication. How was he today on his return?
Naughty OP Peruv! Now you'll have them at it again. Love your Belief and enthusiasm. A win on Tuesday and we'll all go a bit ballistic! You Rsssssssss!!
Yes very important win. Then again if burnley lose points tomorrow and we win on tuesday we can talk about automatic promotion spot. Not before.
Ravel will be the key factor. If he continues to play like tomorrow we could be the sensation of spring with Charlie coming on board later on. Charlie&Ravel could mean promotion ???Who knows?
A very important result & hopefully improve the team's confidence going into the next run of games. Every game is now vital to the end of the season with yesterday being a good day & going our way particularly with the other results so fingers crossed we have a few more like that.
Good OP in my opinion... Im still giving Arry till the end of the season before i can pass my own (personal)judgement / opinion based on the fact that we cant get all the games over here so i havent really seen enough. Should be play off hopefulls i'd expect, but one swallow and all that ! looking fiorward to match reports for the first time in months....
Always love an inflammatory title to a thread. But let's look at the facts, this is one decent result, against a very poor team, after a much more telling series of results against our direct promotion rivals. Anyone notice how Leeds did yesterday, or Reading, or Derby - if we need an indication of our progress I think it's right there.
This. Also it is worth making the point that a major part of the criticism is precisely that we haven't gone out to win games. Other than by boring everyone else to sleep and sneaking one in. It just goes to show that if you play with the aim of scoring you will in this division. Better late than never.
