This is a more interesting argument to me, my oldest spent years with Cardiff and Swansea Academies and it was clear with both that there was no clear path to the first team. They seem to have very little interest in developing players and just want them to magically become a first team player and to do that you have to be big, fast and strong. The whole idea of teaching kids tactics and formation is a small side part of the game as is analysis post game. Kids who potentially could become very good players are moved on too quickly.

Money again is too blame mate.. nobody can afford to risk bringing them through at this level .

When you see clubs such as Bolton and Bury this season with 12 points deducted each before the season has even started it is an eye opener....following in the wake of clubs like Blackpool, Leyton Orient, Coventry for various financial reasons, crikey i could be here all day with the list. and yet one player is worth £80 MILLION it's an insult to the game and about time something was done about it.

Some good points.
I’d like to see better distribution of tv money, sponsorship across the leagues. If the next tv deal is say, 5 billion quid, ring fence 1 billion for lower leagues, academies etc.
The premier league could afford to take the hit and could maybe prevent smaller clubs getting into trouble.
Provided the lower league club owners spend the money wisely of course........

Nope, luv is just a tart that needs to man up a bit. Either that or needs to go join mumsnet, although i think the tart is already a subscriber.
Luvs had you here mate. pull ya pants back up and move on before you become fosse/Stan or piskie/haig

Haha

It's a good idea but you'd have to be careful of the idiot owners at some of the lower clubs, so some kind of way of forcing them to use the money sensibly and that should be mainly thrown at the academies so that the clubs bring through more homegrown players which would save a fortune.

Absolutely but that's the problem, the greedy Prem clubs are not interested in helping the lower leagues financially. It's become a middle class game at the top, stolen from the masses who now have to watch on TV. Greedy, selfish fookers. £80 MILLION is not just an insult to every lower league club but an insult to the communities of Mnachester, those that sleep rough, those that have to use food banks, it's disgusting and about time it was brought into check.

This always ends badly for you mate, you'll be threatening to ban me soon. <laugh>

Never ends badly for me, i just think your a smarmy little shhite, always have, your like one of these little kids that has a strop if he don't get his own way, but problem is you're supposed to be a grown up adult now and still act like a spoilt little prick <ok>

Yeah you are probably right, the clubs are too scared to take that chance. I'd like to think that if someone had the insight and the nads to give it a go they might be surprised.

Man united in 92 but the league was very different then and they started the season badly, but grew and grew .. dont think itll happen again
