@Champions of England Interested on your thoughts on Shakespeare getting the sack? Top manager you said
He gets his knowledge of all club matters from the horses mouth and will not be shocked. Seems strange he got three year deal and they pumped him so soon. What will happen to Shakey in the long term?
He's ****ed himself, as he's always been a No.2 but despite being a good coach, the way he snaked Ranieri will make most managers very wary of wanting to bring him in as their right hand man.
Was he the one to stick in the knife or did he just take a chance? Hadn’t he been at Leicester before Claudio?
We knew as soon as he got the managers job there was no going back to assistant, think he'll probably go back to a coaching role, maybe lower league manager. Wouldn't surprise me if he eventually ended up back with Pearson at our sister club in Belgium! Will always thank him as hes been with us since we were in league 1 and it was him that kept the lads ticking over in our title winning year, Claudio did a cracking job deflecting the press, but it was shakeys ethic that had seen us avoid relegation the year before and continue on the next year.
Not been on here since before the season started because I got over it but today seems like a good day seeing as we just beat Neverton. I said we'd finish above them and although only early days I don't think there's much doubt that we will. Fancy not replacing Lukaku, only an idiot would think that wasn't going to be an issue ha ha My opinion on Shakey is he shoudjnt have been sacked because the issue was not having a midfield. It's not a coincidence that Iborra comes in and we instantly improve. We were **** with King because he's ****. Had the owners waited for Iborra to at least play his second full game then he'd still be rightly in charge. As it is the owners showed they don't understand football and expected a Ferrari chassis with a Fiat engine to perform like a Ferrari but it performed like a Fiat, as I of course expected it to therefore I was happy with away points with King playing. You're going to struggle to win a football match at any level if you aren't competitive in midfield and we simply weren't because King is a Championship player. We had no options and no way of resolving it until Iborra came back from injury and that's the only difference now. As for Puel, I think he will take us to the next level and while I'm not happy about Shakey being sacked, in the long run this will be for the best.
S Summary..... I havent been in here as you handed my arse to me on a plate but as your having a **** season and we have just beaten you i will pop on here to gloat as i was pissed off you made me look a **** the last time a showed my **** of a face here.... ****er..
Not been on his own board to tell them how right he was yet, I suppose that would have to involve telling them they were wrong though I love this plank, he cheers me up when I feel down.
Nah I'm just not bothered about arguing with you idiots anymore. As the season progresses my predictions will unfold and i really don't have time to spout the same stuff to morons week in week out., So all those laughing at Maguire then and bleating on about Keane ha ha you must feel like proper idiots? He outperformed him last season and is outperforming him again, which is not at all surprising to me of course. I remember claiming we would finish above Everton and Southampton and we absolutely 100% will finish above Everton and Southampton and at least 7th. See you at the end of the season when I will come and gloat, for now I can't be arsed.
Please stay all through the season, we need your input game by game. Stop over at the Leicester board, they are missing you When do you expect to need those CL standard dressing rooms again ? Out of interest, when did your dad know Shaky was going?
