I said it in another thread but this is how I see the Harry Kane signing.

Harry Kane has a better goalscoring record in the Championship than James Vaughan.

Harry Kane will be on less wages than James Vaughan.

Harry Kane has had a less injury stricken career to date than James Vaughan.

Harry Kane has more suitable attributes to play lone striker role than James Vaughan.

I like James Vaughan but I think this is a great bit of business.

Excellent assessment! I say let Vaughan do his thing and let Kane do his thing, both are mutually exclusive.

In the first 10-15 games last season, Morison provided excellent competition for Grant Holt. Grant (after a sluggish start) really responded to this pressure for the striker starting place, and produced his best season to date. You could write everything I know about Harry Kane on the back of a stamp (in large letters), but I think if Morison and Kane can put Grant under the same kind of pressure, then we will be in for another fantastic season.
