I'm gonna be a big head (not that that's a surprise! ) and come out with a "I told you so!" comment.

Always liked the look of Kane. Thought his link up play and work rate for a youngster was really promising (like a young Keano) and now clearly his sharpness infront of goal has majorly improved. A Few on here felt he didn't have a future with us based on his limited performances in the Europa, something I strongly disagreed with. I can see him definitely breaking into the first team squad properly within a couple of seasons.

He's also pretty useful on FM12, from all accounts...

To tell you the truth, I'm still not sold, but I hope the new regime does a better job of bringing young players through. Having ones we needed out on loan last year because they were never going to get a sniff of playing is not an ideal solution. The one I really like is Carroll--I think he could be Spurs' playmaker eventually.
