The thing for Wood and Nugent was the knew that no one was good enough to take the shirts off them. Now they know they need to keep banging them in or they are out of the team. And is the signing of Kane a sign that Pearson knows Vardy isnt cutting the mustard? Had Vardy lived up to the hope we all had then I dont even think Nigel would have signed Chris Wood

Lack of goals will cost you. You can rely on 1 player for goals as if something happens to him or he hits a rough patch you will struggle. We had the same in the first half of the season when Nugent wasnt scoring.
Really? If James or Drinkwater get injured, we have King. If Wood or Nugent get injured, who do we have? Quite frankly I think we need both, but the striker was the priority for me. We have missed Wood badly over the last few games - and I'm am including Charlton because I'm not 100% convinced he was fit.
Harry Kane is a very good player - most Wall fans wanted him over Chris Wood originally - Kane and Wood up top should be a very exciting prospect for you and I can see Nugent being the one left out
Good signing now we seem to be struggling up front - could do with a good DM to help out the defence as well.
It will be interesting to see what happens. Nugent is a quality player but will he get as many goals as the other two? Watch this space.

Kane is a fantastic signing. Shame he has extended his contract with Spurs. Will provide an extra goal threat for us. .... and Charlie is quite right, we do now need that ball winning midfielder. Great signing though NP
