I find it a bit of a coincidence that Bale laughed at Spurs' advances and then Zidane resigned and Kane then signs a new deal.

Really, where did you get this definite info from. There was plenty of guff in the papers, but only after Poch himself said that he'd have to listen if Real came for him. I didn't see anywhere that Real had 'definitely made an approach' for him though.

 

It was common knowledge that they made a discreet approach. You lot were wumming away.

If he’d indicated firm interest and got Levy to agree a fee, he’d be Real’s manager now.

He even said he couldn’t do it as it disrespected Daniel.

 

I think that was just paper talk mate, all on the back of Poch saying that he'd have to listen if they came along. He mentioned that forcing a move would be disrespectful, possibly to nudge Levy in the direction that he might one day want to join them. But I think you're making it up that Real definitely made an approach, unless you've got some evidence that I've not seen.

NSIS just likes to state his opinion as fact. He knows as much as anybody else about whether Real made an approach, i.e. He doesn't.

 

Real Madrid haven't even been in contact with Spurs or any of their players, yet their manager and star man have both said the door is open if they come knocking.

The reason Real got so much coverage and speculation, was precisely because poch brought them into the discussion, saying that when Real come calling, you have to listen.
