North Yorkshire.
Didn't see a thread for the lad after making his first start at the weekend.

His emergence this season as a mainstay in and around the first team squad was a bit of a surprise and I think more than a few of us assumed he was just making up the numbers for the bench when we had injuries or suspensions but it looks like he might have a legitimate future in the first team now. He still has another year on his deal so he will be around next season, and if one of the midfielders leave and the likes of Enzo and Samed were to go back to their parent clubs you could easily assume he will play a more serious role in and around the team.

Any thoughts or expectations for Harrison?

Tidy footballer but can’t see him massively influencing games. Not the strongest of lads, really surprised he hasn’t been out on loan yet

Thought he's looked neat and tidy in patches for the first team, has looked decent at u21 level and probably needs a loan move next season to get some proper football experience.

Another lad with decent potential imo

My early prediction - I don’t think he’ll make it here. He’s a decent footballer but doesn’t have a huge impact on games. 20 year old now, would have to start showing more positive signs soon for me. Maybe harsh but there’d be nothing wrong with that, fully expect him to have a good career lower down the pyramid. Similar to many who’ve just failed to make it at first team level here (Molyneux a recent’ish example).

Far too early to judge imo. Some nice neat tidy stuff. Some mistakes but understandable. And some idiots in the crowd telling him he’ll never make a footballer!! 1 of which said the same about Henderson, so lets hope he’s just as wrong about this lad.

Absolutely ready to play league football, hope he gets a good loan, not sure if he’s better off top end league one or bottom half championship
Will be more about the style of team he goes too, i think he would be ideal for a possession based side

Ideally keep him up north so he can come back now and then like young? Or with him being older just let him go and fully immerse himself elsewhere? Someone made the point about if we have a loans manager if that’s the right phrase I think we may need one soon if we stop up

Just let him go and fully experience the loan move, so doesn't matter on location

League One:
Bradford (newly promoted, seemingly less competitive midfield, Max Power)
Bolton
Huddersfield

League Two:
Barrow
Harrogate

Conference:
York (hometown)

I'd be a bit against the Conference for obvious reasons but they've (York) got new American owners and are spending big for the level and on top of that the lad is based in York.

As someone said, I'm not familiar with the style of play and having a team who want to retain the ball would also be beneficial.

I think he may be suited style of play and physicality wise to try for a league 1 team - realistically though is he ever going to be good enough for us? May be best placed to get someone to take on a loan with option let the lad make a career of it

He has a chance in my opinion, his problem right now is we can't risk putting him in when every game is a fight for points and externally he is a relative unknown to clubs outside of ours, he can thrive in an expansive League One team, I don't see a Championship team putting him in, not because he isn't good enough but because the ones with thinner squads are fighting for their lives and again, he is a relative unknown.
