By the sounds of it he'll be taking on a coaching role when he finishes playing, good to know we'll have someone who cares about the club on the coaching staff.
 
Was just about to share this. Very interesting to hear about his time at the club and how he almost never went into playing football professionally.

The bits about Sir Bobby were quite touching too, nice to hear that Carver is doing a good job alongside Pardew.
 
It's a great article by Harper in the Mail, he comes across as a genuinely nice guy.
