Although yesterdays match was comfortable I still thought for a team doomed to relegation that Preston attacked too much( no real chances). This came from a light looking midfield.

So does Harper make a difference in breaking up oppositions midfield.

There was a couple of minutes in the first half I believe where Preston kept ball and it looked like we were missing a more defensive minded mid, I know Evans was playing in the holding role. But we couldnt get it back off them and I can understand why you thought the midfield looked light at times. Having Belaid Koren and Stewart on the pitch in a four man midfield means they need to do the defensive side as well. Harper coming back in would steel up the midfield, however Im not saying this is the only way, it just needs koren to track back a little more and both wingers to protect the full backs.

Agree. Like the look of our midfield but a top team might have to much of the ball.

I agree. I think we're definitley lacking a Harper/Ash type player to break it up in the midfield, and Evans just didn't cut it for me yesterday, he seemed invisible a lot of the time. Although the ball was in the air so much because of their **** style of football that it was hard for our players to do much. I think i'd like to see:
Devitt Koren Harper Stewart in the next match.

I certainly think that Harper would improve the amount of possession that we have, giving the more attacking players more time with the ball.
