"Because you have money to burn and you like to help us out by giving us a good manager, defender and striker at knock-down prices." We gave you a very good manager certainly (well, Mandaric actually made a personal decision rather than a footballing one on our behalf but there we go) but time will tell whether or not we sold Hobbs and Fryatt too cheaply. Personally I think we got a pretty good price for Fryatt as he's very, very hot and cold, and that's coming from a self-confessed fan of his. When he's hot you'd think he was worth 3 or 4 million at least, when he's cold you'd consider yourself lucky to get thrupence ha'penny for the lad. I was a bit disappointed that we didn't get more for Hobbs, but the truth is that he cost us 400k and we made a decent return on that investment. We never quite knew with Jack - at one point he looked like he would make a Premier League quality centre half, then he just seemed to stop developing here. Hopefully he can kick-start again under your lot and you may look back in a few years and think you got yourselves a right bargain there. Either way, the deal was right for both clubs and, most importantly, the player. As for Hargreaves: it won't happen but I'd take him in a flash!
I still miss MO`N but we´re moving forward & NP is LCFC history now. Not to fussed at Leicester res´s getting him now we have SGE, also not bothered about them getting JH & MF, they would of been average players if still at LCFC in this current squad.
