Harding played versus Leeds? Yes I would prefer for Fox to play but Harding is certainly better than Dickson and for you to be calling for his head is abit unwarranted.

Last few games of last season you idiot! I know who played on Saturday thanks and in my opinion Harding was, once again, our poorest player! Dickson hadn't been fit for much of pre-season so Adkins didn't have really have a choice.
Fox is better than Harding, I've already stated that you half wit. No need to absolutely slag him off, he is still a saints player. Its fans like you who are the downfall and don't support the whole team.

I am a big fan of Hardings (he did present me with a signed shirt once before) lol, but the harsh fact is we want to get to the top... and as quickly as possible. NA has made a signing which has improved us as Fox is rated as one of the best left backs in the division. we did this last season with richardson and dickon signing.... Good age aswell. I personally think it may be the end for dickson or harding but getting Fox on board is good business, and yet again, one which not many saw coming. I think a striked is a must, along with a CB and then... DONE.......

The only view that matters is Adkins. I am pleased that he has gone and signed a LB that IMO could play in the Premier League. I don't think either Harding or Dickson are good enough to get promoted, however if Adkins wants to keep them as back up or sell them, it will be his choice.
Saints fans slagging Saints players off again!! Harding is a saints player as is fox. I hope they both have a great season with us. Harding cost us 3-4 goals last season. Peterborough away was the one I remember most of all when he lost his man woefully and was there one at Carlisle away.... I think you will find most defenders cost you 3-4 goals a year as this is how goals are scored. I dont think for one second you can fault hardings effort and commitment to the team which should always be applauded. That said I think competation for places is good. Every player now will be competing for places. I think its only Rickie, Fonte and Lallana who are dead cert starts each week now. I hope we dont bring any more players in as it can cause too much disruption to the team ethic. Too many people losing their places in a team can create a negative attitude.

This is the last thing I'm going to say... I don't think you can slag fans for slagging players off. Every fan does it, be it at the match, on forums, in pubs or in private at home. I guess you must have slagged players off before? I dislike Harding with a passion, you clearly like him; nothing's going to change that.
I'm quite surprised that Harding has so many fans, he makes far too many mistakes for my liking but everyone to their own I guess. As I've said on previous posts I like Dickson more. But even he is not much better than Harding in my opinion and after today's news, it seems the opinion of Nigel as well.

Harding get caught out of position so many times, and it's likely to be exploited at this level - if we are to mount a challenge. His distribution is poor as well. But he's a real trier so maybe he's working on these aspects

If you ask the question "What has Harding done to tick off many Saints fans?" you can't accuse them of slagging off players when they tell you why.

As a Dan Harding fan I hope he is able to raise his game and keep his place, if he can't he still is a reliable back up that I would be glad to have available in case of injury, it is going to be a long season and no one is guaranteed to stay fully fit for the duration. The statistics don't bear out the criticism, but you are entitled to your opinion if you disagree, but there is no need to get hot under the collar, time will tell if you are right and I would be the first to praise you.
Jesus, some people, Harding is quality, he has done well for us, he may not be the best player in the world but Saints arent the best team in the world (yet)
