If our wage bill is top 10, Darnborough wants sacking right now, because that is a horrendous squad for that sort of wages. Top 10 wage bill would mean we are spending 25-35 million on wages if not more per year, that’s bs!
No idea if your stats are correct but the madness is 10 clubs with wage bills that high. It's not sustainable.
Just a guess to be honest. But it includes non playing staff. To be honest I’ve probably underestimated it. Wouldn’t put it past Ehab including the interest his company receives from the club!
Damn, my grandkids are all over 4 so will miss out on this massive saving if they go for 66 years until they are 70.
Is that FACT as in it's true or FACT as in it's a falsehood expressed ironically in the guise of truth, in such a way as to convey the authorial intent knowingly to those with the necessary subsidiary awareness? The word FACT is in the process of losing its meaning. FACT.
https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/how-hull-citys-summer-spending-1884524 According to that article we did have the fourth biggest net spend. Most clubs made a profit. We let our players go for free.
He won't want to contact the broker who's put his name forward as that would mean paying comission and the Allams think they can sort out there own deals
If we do have the fourth biggest net spend and yet we've ended up with this shower then heads need to roll, definitely.
Exactly - we let too many quality players leave without renogotiating contracts for some of the ones which did well - this has surely affected the squad balance. All in a desperate effort to cut costs. Ehab still talks in a purely financial language when in football there is more nuance involved. His comment on Instagtram about "quitting while I'm ahead" shows that he's clearly on the defensive and attempting to counter the critics with ad hoc financial statistics which may be correct but don't reflect the broader picture
The HDM article is wrong, we spent £500k on Burke, not £1.5m, which puts us down at the bottom. The top ten wage bill is bollocks as well, not only does he have no more information on others wage bills than we do, but just looking at those historic wage levels and the players that we've lost/signed, ours will almost certainly now be in the bottom ten.
IF that is correct then it would only knock us down to 7th in net spend which is still a success in Allam Land.
When I was 'little' the Allams lived on the next street (Collynson Close in Willerby in one of the many rented streets owned by Larrards) I remember one day asking his mum why he had 'Happy' on a big sticker on his bike, "it's his English name" (? thought young me , but carried on whatever I was doing) a few (?) years later they moved to the house they live in now, and forgot about them until .... Ask me however what I did Friday ...
The bastard! Ah the **** who ****ed off from our fair shores having a pop. Just for clarity, and I'm typing this slowly so hopefully you can follow, there's never been years of unwavering support from me for Ehab. Like you, he's a daft twat who is delusional.
