King Arthur is probably the most famous character in English folklore from the 5th century.
To make King Arthur, black , Chinese a woman or Mexican is farcical and unnecessary.

They'll probably do a Pakistani Robin Hood next <laugh>

There are countless examples of white guys playing the roles of people of ethnicity. Those are all fine though, as that means whitey is better. It's just the sight of a person of colour on television that makes ****wits cry.

Just typical of film makers trying to level up the playing field after 12 Years A Slave "woke" the Oscars.

"Well why can't King Arthur be black? Why can't Jesus be black? Why can't 50% of Elizabethan London be negroes?"

For years we had whitey playing darkies from Othello to Geronimo, it doesn't make it right but you try making a film now about Martin Luther King Jnr and have Brad Pitt all blacked up as the leading man instead of Denzel Washington. That would be racist.

King Arthur is a fictional character, he can be any colour they want him to be.

Jesus is a fictional character, he can be any colour they want him to be (he would have brown anyway)

No one has ever portrayed Elizabethan London as 50% 'negroes'. That is only in your warped little ****ed up racist mind.

Why does seeing black people on television scare you so much?

You see that there Save Me & Save Me Too? Stars that black chap from The Walking Dead and Snatch. Now Lennie James is a fine actor and in a gritty urban drama series why wouldn't the lead character be black?

Would he be first choice from a casting agent to play, say The Duke of Wellington or Montezuma? Can someone black play these characters? Of course they can but wouldn't you normally expect a European to play Wellington or a Mexican to play Montezuma? Just look at the grief Disney got into for not casting Asians in the remake of Mulan and then when an Asian actress was cast in the leading role the complaints flooded in that not enough of the production staff were non-white.

Take a moment to watch current TV adverts where you will find average domestic life portrayed as only existing in mixed race families. Hardly ever is there just a black family or couple. Why can't a black family eat chips or go on holidays? Why do advertisers think that you are only allowed to feature as a black man or woman if your opposite number is white?

I never see anyone white complaining that they are not represented enough in Bollywood films.
