I can see what you saying Deano and i agree with alot of them, but not all. If (and it's a guess) that you're implying Curry was our "number one dish" half of them were created in this country and not in the Indian Subcontinent. So technically it's Anglocised. And considering the French call us "Roast Beef" i wouldn't hesitate in saying i reckon thats our national dish. Unless it's another traditional dish in sheppards pie you're on about.
