I want to wish all sunderland supporters a very, very happy new year. Especially everyone on Not 606. You have kept me up to date with most goings and comings in the club, and have kept me entertained in so many ways. A special thanks to RTB for his match previews.
It will be midnight here in Thailand 7 hours ahead of UK, so I hope you all enjoy your celebrations however they may be, enjoy, stay safe and hopefully covid free.

Happy New Year to you mate
My son lives in Thailand, I will be messaging him in about 5 hours to wish him Happy New Year....seems odd!

Couldn’t have said it any better. Enjoy your quiet night. Same here no kids or grandkids for the first time in years. Me the wife and the 2 shepherds. Oh and a bottle of Dalmore Port Wood single malt. Bliss :emoticon-0148-yes:

The last time I was in this village for Hogmanay I escorted a Piper around every street in it after the bells, getting given free drink everywhere we went. That seems unlikely this year. New Year's Day dinner is the big thing here so it'll be a quiet one.

I’ve enjoyed my year or so on here, there seems to be some really good people to exchange views with. Quiet one for us, a few bottles of plonk to see the new year in then a good day out tomorrow.
I’ll be raising a glass or 2 to some good friends & family I’ve lost this year, 2 good mates who would have loved to have seen our progress this season. God bless you all, Happy New Year !

All the best lads and lasses. Never bothered with internet forums until lockdown etc but this place is cracking. Made me welcome and have loved the debate. Special mention to those matchday threads RTB - always a pleasure.

Some lovely person bought me a 12 year old an cnoc for Christmas. That is now in my old fashioned cut glass decanter. I have an old fashioned cut glass whiskey glass and I am settled in for the night.

Here is to a 2022 for us and our club we can be proud of.
