What about Summer Olympics and such like. Classics, best way to knacker your cheap joystick when in the 100m sprint. :emoticon-0183-swear:emoticon-0183-swear:emoticon-0183-swear

Fair enough. My girlfriend's family all really frown upon us playing video games. Its weird. They all watch plenty of telly and games are just interactive telly.

Our kids go to pre school and after school club. They'd sit and play computer games all day if they could. I'm old school - fresh air and bike riding or football - it's the future <laugh><laugh> My 6 year old is taking some convincing!!!

I grew up with video games but also played out a lot. I still regularly exercise now as well as still playing a lot of games when I'm at home.

Kids not playing out so much any more can't be just down to video games, we had them when I was little and everyone still played outside then.

My missus hates people going on their phones, if we have a meal and the kids go on their phones as soon as they've finished eating, she goes mental and she won't watch Facebook clips and the like. Last time I looked, her phone said she has 1,067 unread emails. <laugh>

I don't mind them playing on them, but like you said there's finding the right balance. Some kids would happily play computer games all day, if you'd let them.

I always play City's games a day before matchday on FIFA and use that as my prediction. I only have FIFA, some strange, noir platform game called LIMBO and Assassin's Creed Unity. I bought the latter because it was on offer for £9 and is set during the French Revolution and one of my modules was about the French Revolution.

See, you learn whilst you play.

Totally get that, I was sent to Mars to battle a load of demons from hell. So I went out and bought Doom. It didn't help.

Gonna buy Fallout 4 soon and play on Survival Mode so I can prepare for the post-apocalyptic world. Might buy GTA V anarl in case I need to rob a bank to pay off my overdraft.

Only reason why I haven't bought it yet is cause I'm broke. I pretty much did everything on Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Main story, all side quests, all companion quests, all DLCs, all unique weapons, etc.

My mate keeps telling me to get Witcher 3. Assassin's Creed Unity is pretty disappointing; boring protagonist, glitchy gameplay and just all round dull. Apparently, Ubisoft aren't releasing an AC game this year like usual and instead are gonna release it in 2017. Said they're taking their time which is fair considering rushed games are generally ****e. Haven't bought a COD game since Black Ops II but I know the last three at least have been crap and this looks like it will be crap as well.

GTA V is pretty daft in that they need that much kit and man power to do the heists that it would hardly bear any relevance to a person in real life. You'd be better off finding a copy of San Andreas for a few pounds, could even download it, far better game for me, failing that Vice City
