Indeed, Merry Christmas everyone. Out for a rambling walk tomorrow morning, then off to the pub quiz for a wee while. Hopefully, the rolled pork joint will have defrosted by then [bloody idiot me forgot to get it out of the freezer until about half hour ago. Cheers Pepys.

A normal working day here, just finished work. I had 4 classes to teach today, I taught party games all day, so a fun day and a good break for the students away from their normal studying. Now to enjoy a curry I prepared yesterday, no turkey to be found over here.

It's just me and the lady for Xmas this year, drove home with a car full of stash yesterday. My mate, nicknamed Godders, got engaged yesterday, and his new fiance is lovely (I'm the only one who finds this funny). Better get out of bed, have fun.

Ha ha love that attitude Fran. Smoked salmon and scrambled egg for us... About to open the fizz, then it'll be cherries wrapped in bacon with some chutney and Brie filled croustades, so I should be feeling a little full before we have the venison!!

Ps. I love that post about il your son being in trouble for "not spending much" and not knowing what that level is :)

    Happy Christmas Saints fans!!

The "lovely Mrs Godders".... Brilliant. He must make you best man. You must use the phrase in your speech. You must post a video here.

As a veggie, I find the carnivore references make me suitably queasy!

Merry Christmas to all my virtual friends. I (virtually) love you all. This is a great place to start the day. Fran, we expect updates.

Thanks for the smoked salmon and scrambled egg idea FLT, one of my favourite breakfasts! Just tucking in to that now, while I await everyone else to surface.

My daughter and her BF got engaged yesterday, so big celebrations last night!

    Merry Christmas everybody!
