Lots of silly shaped chocolate to come, a weekend with the family, loads of food, a roast dinner and a hangover. More chocolate, kids that puke because of the said chocolate. Drunken in laws and the inevitable arguments. The wife crying! More chocolate. Late nights with a bottle of whiskey when everyone has gone to bed. Football and a bit of golf.

Always found it a strange holiday. I remember as a child looking at my mum like she was mental as she tried to explain rolling painted boiled eggs down a steep hill, usually in the rain at the obligatory pic-nic as "fun"

Only got better as a holiday when I started drinking. Ah to be nine again...

Bah Humbug! I hate these holidays when all yous lot get to laze about stuffing yer faces and getting pissed! Takes all the enjoyment out of being retired when the hoi polloi get to do the same <laugh>
