in fairness internet betting only needs 5/6 lads to lay on stupidly to get the odds slashed. rafa has no more interest in stoke than everton. he says he turns down offers like that every second week. napoli will not interest either.

PSG for rafa, anchelotti to real, mourinho to cheslea, pelligrini to city and pulis to everton... the only losers there are stoke... but even they will be happy.

So much for the people's club, take a year off at Liverpool, and you'll have a 30 year wait to get it back <yikes>

It all makes sense now. Andy Carroll searching for a house in Liverpool, Pulis leaving Stoke and Everton yet to announce their new manager...

everton can't afford 15mil for carroll.

we can afford to push 20mil down a toilet while everton only dream of that much.

and yes this si a rather funny thread, harmless banter and all that. I hopefully await an equally hilarious send up written by a blue shortly.

They might afford Carroll if they do a whip-around. Fellaini should have wads after being in that Avatar movie

At least they extended Moyes' contract so they would get compensation from Man Utd and Baines and Fellaini wouldn't be able to move to Salford with him for minimal fees... oh wait...

As usual you're on the ball <doh>

Moyes wouldn't sign pet, but Fellaini did, as did Baines, so they'd fetch about 3 Carroll's the pair <laugh>

big bird doesn't even know thier history. their net spend is tiny or negative each year so the fact they luckily have 2 half decent players (one an elbowing donkey, the other an england reserve) not not down to much other than luck of the draw.

Even lfc can get lucky eh? ;)

we can throw 20mil down the pan on carroll and just shrug, everton would have to close the gates. thats the point. I do wish he would have come up with a hilarious thread o nthe main board to respond to this as thats what this harmless joshing is all about. entertaining each other while we wait for more football.

Fellaini was £15M when we bought him, so he was hardly a 'punt', we've just made him into a far better all round player & he'll leave for around double what we paid for him.

Baines is the best LB in the country, bar none, we paid £6M for him, & what a great piece of business that was.

As for your lot pissing money away & people like you seeing it as a badge of honour, lol, without CL & everything it brings with it, you won't be able to enjoy slashing away £20M on ****e, for much longer, so make the most of it. You've still got the 'enjoyment' of seeing Downing pissed away & then the mouth breathing moron that is Henderson at some point ;)

You made £15m profit on Rodwell for a player Man City didn't even need or care about. Now Man Utd could fill two positions they desperately need for just £39m. That's just £18m profit i.e. less profit per player than Rodwell and also in the process Moyes rips the heart out of the Everton team.

    Man Utd's recent defensive transfers:

    Phil Jones £17m
    David De Gea £18.9m
    Chris Smalling £10m

Leighton "best LB in the country" Baines £15m <laugh>
