Will the team respond and give him a very nice birthday present? <whistle> Its been a funny week, after Sunday, the players all disappeared on Int. duty, so I think I'm right in saying he was wasn't able to have the post match recriminations, till yesterday. Whether that break has perhaps taken the sting out of any rollickings and we move on together, we'll see for ourselves tomorrow.
 
Well he said there was no point as he wouldn't see them till Friday.
So time enough for them to think about the performance.
I'm pretty sure he will get a great reception tomorrow.
 
I was almost going to reply sarcastically "What time is it in Australia?" because his birthday was yesterday, then I realised <doh>

Gawd Blimey, Guv'nor, everyone loves 'Arry. What a diamond gezzeah cheeky chappie barra boy, luv a duck, you gotta love him! Tell that to the Pompey fans that are seeing their club go to the wall because of 'Arry's ludicrous spending, and no doubt plenty of those dodgy brown paper bag deals that he's so famous for. Still, as long as he's ok, eh? And the FA Cup looks good on his CV - never mind he's ruined a Football Club with his (unproven but widley accepted by everyone) criminal financial activities to acheive it. Salt of the earth, old 'Arry. Saggy faced ****.

By paying way over the odds for players to enable the agents, Madaric and 'Arry to get a nice little percentage on the deals (alledgedly), with no thought for what might (has) happened to the club.

In the long run it'll be great if 'Arry gets the England job, as when the honeymoon's over and the press turn on him, which they will eventually, they'll do some serious digging to unearth those missing bits of evidence that'll have him convicted at last.

If they wanted to do some serious digging to get convictions, they'd start with the McCann's before moving on to UK Athletics bribing the IOC to get the 2012 Olympics - or maybe get Arsenal forcibly relegated when they do some digging into Henry Norris' dealings.

Besides, they never did any digging into Terry Venables once he left the England job, and so why make the lazy presumption they'd do so with Harry - other than to regurgitate the factually challenged ramblings of embittered West Ham fans?

Paying over the odds for players? Really?
Redknapp wasn't in charge of the finances at Portsmouth and any guilt that you've ascribed to him is purely because you're clueless.
The fact that you lot all moan about Mike Ashley despite him saving your club and improving your team no end says it all, frankly.
