Finished. After he left he was beset with injuries - I suspect we knew. Did he not have loads of back issues while with us, which they attributed to one leg being much shorter than the other? Did he not end up paralysed at some stage too after colliding with someone (after he left)? I might have made both these up Nice bloke. I met him in Legends and he was really sound. Was decent for us though, had one of the most challenging jobs in football. Lets remember his fellow three in the back 4 weren't that keen on defending. We had Watto, Barton, Hottiger on the right. All attacking. We had Bez, Elliott on the left, both attacking. Then his partner in the middle was Phillipe who liked a stroll about. When they signed Batty he must have been over the moon.
