    Hughes was so versatile...I forgot it was F*CKING SOUNESS who got rid of him...What else can he do? Joke of a manager... Destroyed the bin dippers and Newcastle's talented squad singlehandedly.. I will never ever forgive him to be honest...

    Yeah selling Hughes for 1m was a absolute disgrace.

    Hughes was always consistent, reliable, injury-free and quite versatile covering all the positions in defence from RB to LB. <ok>

    Quality act! Should have stayed.. he wasn't the best going forward but when we finished in the top four in the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 seasons he was one of the best defensive RB's around. Had a decent cross, very good tackler, read the game well, tall, consistent and solid.

    Sold Hughes for £1m then replaced him with Boumsong for £8m. Great management Souness ya ****!

    If there's any way the notion of reincaranation could actually be true, I sincerely hope that twat Souness comes back as a dartboard in my local.
