So, we have a hung Parliament, personally I hope they're all left to dangle with a very big fat man dangling on the end of Corbyn's rope, just to make sure it doesn't come loose you understand.

This is how I see it,

If May stays on, which she has indicated she will for the sake of the Brexit talks, she'll need to get the DUP onside. The DUP have said they're prepared to deal with the Tories for the sake of the Brexit talks not being postponed; let's hope so for Britain's sake.

If May manages to form a minority Government with the DUP, then chances are she'll receive a lot of flack, disagreements and opposition votes from Corbyn's party. Corbyn has stated there'll be no deals, seems that Corbyn hasn't got his eyes open yet and may be in for a few surprises once he has become enlightened by his own MP's.

Equally, if Corbyn manages to form a minority Government it looks like he'll have to rely on the other smaller parties unless the DUP change their minds, which may be unlikely as both the Tories and DUP may beat Corbyn to the punch. Should Corbyn be successful he too can expect backlash from the Tories and some other parties, so basically it's going to be a scrap unless the Tories and DUP combine to stabilize the Government.

With the EU Parliament plotting to stop budget rebates to Brussels, it looks like there could be some financial problems within the EU organisation, and with another 5 or 6 Countries looking to leave the EU, which would pretty much cripple the EU altogether, then it would make more sense for the smaller parties to jump on board with the Tories and DUP, even Eire seem to be considering it now Britain has opted to leave; like I've said before, once one makes the first move, others will follow for the right reasons.

The EU Parliament are very worried, their power seems to be slowly diminishing, and serves them right for not running the EU properly.

Hungary and Poland, 2 of the Countries who want to leave the EU have been told take refugees/migrants or get kicked out of the EU, I don't think either country will bat an eyelid to those threats, and may well have the last laugh.

So, as far as the Brexit talks are concerned, the turmoil within the EU seems to be in our favour, and I don't think trade will be a problem as other countries buy our stuff too, and the Pound will bounce back......

Once we leave, it may be a slow process to begin with, but I think Britain will prosper from its decision.......:emoticon-0148-yes:

The tories won't keep her in long enough to negotiate anything. DUP leader has already stated they won't support a hard brexit (whatever that means).

"No deal is better than a bad deal"
"We are leaving the single market"
    We are ending free movement"

    Given the above:
What would a harr brexit look like

Read your post 991 again. Then the express piece.. I did as you requested.

Btw 27 does not equal 1.
Doesn't matter cos we will now be staying in the single market or staying in the eu.
The dup would walk away before agreeing hard brexit.
On tuesday the pro eu tory mps are going to tell May the same.

Apparently the cladding used on the tower building is being blamed for the main reason the fire spread so quickly. and passed European safety standards, someone's in for a bollocking in Brussels
Also, its Strange how the media narrative around the fire is to get angry. but when kids are purposely blown to bits by extremist muslims we are told to be passive and loving to our political opponents.

You really should read other rags than the express and mail

Leaving aside the other stuff, the stuff about countries leaving the EU is pie in the sky. Poland leave? You must be joking. Who is going to leave - none of them are as dim as us

I can't see anything other than a soft brexit now Paul, as the DUP won't agree to a hard brexit which will mean an Irish border patrol, May needs their support and it's the bigger picture now to deny Labour power, so I'm willing to accept it on those grounds. <ok>
