It was just before Roker Park was demolished and you were allowed in for reflection and photographs. I'd gone along with my then baby son as I wanted my photo taken with him in the same spot where I had my photo taken when I was a baby.
Peter Reid was in the offices above the main entrance. We heard a knock and looked up and he grinned and waved manically out the window at us
