Another year gone by, now 48 years since possibly our finest Footballing achievement.....

Reckon I've gone just past the half century in being an R......first went around 1964 aged 8, something like that!!!:emoticon-0106-cryin
 
All youngsters! Was there in '67 at Wembley up in the gods - watching in black and white! Well done Tranmore for reminding us that 2-0 down at half time is not insurmountable. Roll on this evening.

Not the worst day of my life I suppose but in 20 years of supporting this club and maybe 15 or so of really knowing what's going on we've reached the FA cup fifth round once and maybe the last 16 of the League Cup. Just a little day out at Wembley for a major final would do me just once in my life.
 
Must admit I still have hopes of seeing The R's winning a Major Cup Final, although I was at Wembley in 67 I don't remember anything of the game, so for the time being 24th May 2014 will do as a decent consolation prize......
