Surely a short throw in and someone crossing it in to a box with Wickham in it would be better? Wouldn't complain at a swap deal with Ranger mind.
We have played crap since QPR at home. the ironic thing is when we play them and most likely beat them on 31/11/12 MON will be on his way because of Bruces signings. In this game there is not time to 'get it right' i have seen 6 relegations and i am fed up. Get a foreign coach in before it is too late, i would like him to succeed but 1 striker ! we needed 4, is Ellis short reading these posts, i hope so because if we go down we might be finished, after chance after chance after chance and they keep blowing it, The Chelsea and Man c way is the only way. Give MON £100 m in Jan and we will back him to the hilt.
I wouldn't dare trust MON with that! Fletcher - 14m Curtis Davies - 10m Nigel Reo-Coker - 8.5m Carlos Cuellar - 7.8m Fabian Delph - 6m Stephen Warnock - 6m 52.3m for that!
I can't believe people think Whickham is the answer. Smacks of desperation. He needs loaned out to a championship team get his confidence up.
Unfortunately everything wrong with the modern day fan is portrayed in this one sentence. QPR have spent the best part of 60 million since January, where has that got them? Forgetting the O'Neill issue for a second, but if you spent 100 million in January on say 6 players (regardless of who your manager is) it will only mean a further bedding in period, the team would need time to gel all over again and you could quite easily see no improvement and do a Leeds. Whoever is your manager in January, whether it be O'Neill or a new bloke should be looking to make two new signings, quality over quantity. Haven't seen too many of your games but from what I hear a ball playing CM and another striker would greatly improve the team. Not pretending to know who these players would be, but I'd suggest minor tweaking rather than major surgery is the way to go.
Bang on the money. They are crying out for a Cabaye type who will run a game on passing alone and someone to compliment/ease the burden on Fletcher. People are getting carried away with how bad things are. Normally I'd have a good laugh but its getting a bit silly. A bit like the wars being waged on this board at present! People are entitled to want him in or out but some of the comments last night were embarrassing.
To the same point.. Was the game not won by the manager? Moyes has been at Everton for 400 games. O'Neill has had about one tenth of that so far. I agree things have to change but there were 2 huge slices of luck against us yesterday as the ball went through O'Shea's legs for both of the goals. On another day they'd have deflected off him and gone to safety.
Yesterday At last, Magic scored and didn't play too bad Sess looked to be coming back to form McClean put in a better shift We are in a bad place, agreed, but we are improving. Keep the faith. x
