My mate at work ( also an R's fan ) is friend's with Darren Bent. Bent told him that Felix Magath told the Fulham squad that any 'players over the age of 30 should start looking for a new club' after they were relegated. Sound's like Magath could be Flyer in a kinda German management form.
How do they do it? Making up complete bull**** stories, not a hint of truth in this. Couldn't be further from the truth. He was sacked by e-mail on his way on holiday. Fulham activating a clause in his contract that was signed in 2013, meaning they could get rid in case of relegation. Let me tell you he was not a happy bunny. Well aware no team will pay him anywhere near the £50.000 he was on at Fulham (2 seasons left on his contract). I've said it before, I really don't want him. But I fear the story got legs. But we won't pay him £50 k p/w, no one will.
