Fully agree Norway, yourself and I with a few others could see what was being done out of necessity, namely because of the number of games we had, and the need to utilise the whole squad. I would say that Laudrup is a tactical genius , as no other team that I can see alters things so much depending on the game and the opposition. We clearly shown today that we can play the passing game still as well as a direct game, or defensively in the few games previously. I am happy we have him here, and that we seem to suit each other so well, long may it continue.
Much better Norway. Now that last one sums Mike Dean up perfectly. I hate the bastard too. Right at the start of the 2nd half a stoke player shoved Schecter completely off the ball with his arm fully extended and in front of 20,000 witnesses. Dean however chose to ignore it and let play on. For that he should be hauled in front of the FA and ask to explain it and all the other numerous things he let go and also as to why any time one of our players went near a Stoke RFC player and they fell down why he was giving them free kicks for nothing He is the worst referee in the Premier League and shouldn't be allowed within 100 miles of Swansea.
Getting over a virus infection in the throat, which has stopped me going to see this game live at the Liberty today, was offered the tickets by our good jack, Ffsdon, true gent indeed lads. Anyway Laudrup has now taken our squad to an all new level, not only using the squad to the full, but he has got the fringe players at peak form, so that we do not drop any quality in our game when covering for injuries etc. Now while that's an achievement in it's self, knowing how dire our second string have been over the years under Pascoe, (trust me, I've watched them enough), the real gem though, is Laudrup and Larson's understanding of the game, and as Norway has stated, we now have a plan 'A' 'B' 'C' & 'D', which means we can fear no team in this league, and as Never has stated, boy is it good to be a Swansea Jack!....................... please log in to view this image
**** that Phil, We have a plan a, b, c, d, e, f, g, h, i, j, k, l, m, n, o, p, q, r, s, t, u, v, w, x, y, z.
Arsenal was a game too far spacy IMO . For the fans and the players really, thats why it was so Nice to witness this game today,it squashed alot of the negative sentiment that seemed to be creeping in on the board, its a Long season and to me the last month proved we have a team and manager of great potential, especially as we have developed other ways of playing and picking up points.
How about some Russian ? Й,ц у к е н г ш щ з х ф ы в а п р о л д ж э я ч с м и т ь б ю
It was clear to me from that game, that Laudrup wanted out of the FA Cup! You could tell not only from the game, but also from his big beaming smile when he shook Wenger's hand after the game!.....................
No wonder you struggle to understand my thinking! you poor chap..................... Orlandi has scored again!.......................... please log in to view this image
Well here we have it then just like some of us have been on about..short neat passing is a winner, Ok it was only stoke and the possession was about even but the difference was our defense stayed as normal being strong and the rest was playing short passes going more forward not back....Just doing that makes all the difference like i commented on yesterday....great to see ben get on the score sheet today his family must be so proud of him....more of the same please...
Sorry Norway but people are entitled to their opinions and by name calling you've gone down to a certain other posters level .
also how many handballs are Stoke allowed to have? Are the first 5 free once you've saved your Mike Dean loyalty points up? what a twart that man is.
What utter tripe Laudrup wanted to win , the players wanted to win, the fans who traveled wanted to win, we all want to win, The team selection and tactics was all wrong and we got punished....short passing is our game and is what we do best as we proved today...If you think a manager wants us to lose then he should not be the manager....
Any one notice dean warming up kissing his hand then rubbing his arse in front of the East Stand ,I kid you not , that about set the standard today for us regarding his officiating .
Hi Guys, just got back from the match. Nice one Norway, all points well addressed. I disagree about one though and that's Pablo H. I didn't see him as a threat at all today and he gave away too much cheap ball through shoddy passing. In my opinion he needs to improve his game if he wants to keep his place. Overall, so far this season I feel Dyer is the better option even though he's had a few poor showings himself. Dyer I'm will be fine when he returns. He needs to recharge his batteries and rekindle his interest, and there's no better place to do that than from the sidelines, he'll be fine. Both we and he knows what he can do, Pablo so far has not impressed me. I thought Michu looked a bit confused today. He seemed unsure as to where he should be, up front with Schecter or dropping into midfield and in the end he did neither effectively. He looked miserable too all game too, maybe he doesn't like the cold that much. I hope its just a passing thing. Great result all around though, Ki and De Guzman bossed it all game and Congrats to Ben for scoring his first big one. Good to see us successfully playing in different ways, tempos and styles, the opposition just don't know what to prepare for when they play us.
