If it were not one of those 3, and by the way you are spot on that the next 4 or 5 players under them are exceptional talents (as is Murray) as well. The problem and its massive, is that he is almost 99% guaranteed to meet either Federer, Nadal or Djorkovic in a semi final or final over the next 2 years and in the case of the latter 2, the next 5 or 6. That means it will be around 2018 before Murray will be able to contest a tournament where he has a chance. Unfortunately, he will be 30/31 as well and there will be new boys on the block as well.

He will NEVER win a major and I'd put 10 times what you would to say he would win one right now. I'm not happy about it but I'm realistic as well.

I think he could, but his service game still comes up massively short under pressure.

He put so much into the first set (but STILL dropped a game), and when it came to pressure time end of set 2, he couldn't handle Rog stepping it up.

He has all the shots, and so much talent, and he is worthy world number 4, but he hasn't got that magic that Federer found in the final 2 games to flip it on his head.

Time is on his side, but as you've mentioned, it is for Novak & Nadal as well, and I think Tsonga is going to improve as well, he goes wild at times, if he reins that in, he'll be right up Murrays arse for 4th.

I do think he'll win a major personally, but I wouldn't be hoying money on it.

Personally I like almost ALL major sporting events but cant be arsed to watch amateur or non competitive events.

If I won the lottery, I'd happily spend my life going to major sporting tournaments around the country and the world, even sports I am not too keeen on, apart form privellaged toffy nosed ****ers sports like Horse Eventing and Polo. I'd be chucked put for shouting abuse at the public school ****ers. Lol

Cest, you are becoming more snobby than the snobs. Think you need a touch of relegation football, to free your mind, then the spleen can be vented fully. dont you think?

He can wipe his sad, crying eyes with the Peru shirt that he was wearing, when England played them in the world cup....
If he wants to be Scottish and take the p*ss then that's fine....but don't expect any support from me, when he wants to be British all of sudden!

Not fussed about tennis, but a British win would have been good, even if it was the miserable Scottish git. He'll be a contender for Sports Personality of the Year after the blubbering (cf Gazza) notwithstanding it's a contradiction in terms in his case...
