Has anyone ever been to the Hand and Flowers in Marlow?

If so what did you think of it? over rated or worth it?

Thanks

If you want to try some of his food up north, he's heading up f&b at The Stock Exchange Hotel in Manchester which opens 15 Nov for info.
I did see something about that, thinking of taking my wife for her 30th but think the original place will be the best :-)

He’s done a healthy eating thing on TV recently (ish) after he developed healthier eating recipes to help his weight loss. I’ve cooked a couple of his TV recipes and they were very good.

He seems a top bloke.
He does seem like a top bloke not the big I am like other chefs are, one reason we like him.

Famous chef, has two Michelin stars
As a point of order, he has no Michelin stars. Stars are awarded to restaurants, not to chefs. They are not transferable either and do not follow the head chef should they change restaurants.

While I don't doubt TK, as owner, has had a major involvement which has resulted in the 2 stars being awarded, the Head Chef is Jamie May having recently being appointed following Aaron Muliss moving on to pastures new.

Just saying.

Having said that, it sounds like they had a very good working relationship which was inspired by TK, as you woud expect.

Which in itself seems daft as Michelin Stars are awarded on the quality of food created by the Chef. They should move with the Chef.

Jamie May wasn't he on top gear?
