that boy lewis can fight,he's a black belt in karate.has been since age 12,so i dont know if schumacher would have it all his own way if they did come to blows lol.
I don't believe the Mirror, but in general Hamilton sometimes needs to keep his mouth shut and stop blaming others for his inability. I don't mean to attack Hamilton here, but I'm talking about events like after Abu Dhabi, where he told the BBC that Red Bull had help from Renault because he couldn't overtake Kubica in the race.
Lap 55? He had 11 laps left, or couldnt he get over it? He was near enough on Vettel's ass in that picture anyway
Come on guys you actually think Lewis said that!!! He probably said he felt like he was blocked as he fell back a bit from Seb at the last sector. Anyway Lewis is the strongest driver on the grid. He knock Alonso Vettel Button Schumacher out all in one go. And Forza, It was at the heat of the moment so surely you can understand that. Just as you can understand Fernando waving and effectively blaming Petrov for his Title Loss.
Without trying to get into an argument... it wasn't really in the heat of the moment, he got out of the car, did press conference, podium celebrations and he accused Renault in the post race interview. Alonso fist @ Petrov, was heat of the moment - and in the post race interview he said Petrov was not to blame. But I want to make the point clear, I don't believe what The Mirror has said
Oh come on Silver, do I detect a note of bitterness in your tone, obviously you need to be a little more observant of the detail.
The Mirror isn't the most reliable paper in the world, but they can't make up direct quotes or it's libel. Schumacher says the McLaren spokesman has denied it (either that Lewis said it or Schumi did it presumably).
If it's a fake article by the mirror, I take everything back. Because so far I haven't seen any real interview about it so maybe I jumped the gun slightly. If he did say that but in a lower tone I'll change mine above appropriately, until then I'm sticking on telling him to stfu because it hasn't failed me yet. I'm only acting bitter if he's acting bitter etc...
I don't have any examples so I can't back it up but I think they actually do make things up. Hamilton or Button (can't remember which) complained earlier this season about stories in tabloid newspapers being 100% fiction. I'm pretty sure they get taken to court fairly regularly, too, for inventing stories closer to the front pages.
Right, well either someone is telling porkies or Byron Young misunderstood (or wilfully elaborated) a (possibly throwaway) comment Hamilton made after the Spanish GP. As soon as the cars hit the track this will be forgotten but we shall continue to hmm...
I know who I'm more inclined to believe, and it ain't the one whose name sounds like a youthful poet.
The actual 'quote' in the Mirror is: "I won't speak to him about it - I didn't want to waste my time or my breath." As I said before, that doesn't make sense, grammatically. It makes sense if it's two separate quotes stitched together for the convenience of Mr Young. "I won't speak to him about it " suggests the incident isn't that serious for Lewis... ? "I didn't want to waste my time or breath" could be something Lewis said about something completely different at any time yesterday or last year. When you put them together with a "–" it makes him sound furious. Isn't it normal to use "..." when joining two parts of the same speech? The language of the whole piece is inflammatory and chosen to suggest Lewis's anger at Schumi: the "bloody nose" in the headline is about Red Bull, apparently, but it's all there together in the headline to make the reader think Lewis is furious with Schumi. Pure manipulation, in other words... Not to mention inciting xenophobia.
And will Byron put his money (preferably loads of it) where his mouth is? Or was that another statement of fiction he just made?
BBC Reports. He accuses them of holding him up in Spain last weekend (funny, I thought it was Karthikeyan and Rosberg who held him up) and wants Allan McNish to keep an eye them in Monaco.
So I guess vettel can say the same about Di Resta and Sutil then ? One's British and the other is Lewis' best mate... I think he's been hanging around Whitmarsh too much.
