http://www.designfootball.com/Logo-design/New-Hull-City-Tigers-Crest Design football have published an article about our new badge "Hull City Tigers, formerly known as Hull City A.F.C. revealed its new official crest which will be used on all club collateral from the start of the 2014/15 season. The new crest retains the familiar tiger at the heart of it whilst another nod to the heritage and history of the Club comes with the inclusion of the year â1904â at the base of the crest, which makes the most of current trends in business branding. Speaking at the unveiling of the new crest, Vice-Chairman Ehab Allam said: âWe are delighted to unveil our new crest for 2014/15. âThis is a more stripped back and modern approach which still celebrates the Clubâs heritage and history by focusing on our famous and well established Tigers head. We have also introduced â1904â to the crest to document the year our club was formed. âOur first ever step into European competition is a new era for us all and we are all excited about the season ahead.â The new crest will be used on their new Umbro kit for the 2014/15 season, which will be revealed next month, and will also feature on the club's official merchandise, marketing, communications and commercial ventures going forward. Due to the timescales involved in approval and production of the new playing kit, and due to the late nature of the decision on their application to change the Clubâs name, consultation with the fans about the new crest wasnât possible, but the importance of retaining the âtigers headâ logo, which has been synonymous with the Club for many, many years, was central in the design process."
Here we go with the Hull City Tigers thing, if a source/website that isn't mainstream get it wrong, just ignore it. Otherwise, they'll be topics on this all the time. Waste of time and all your going to do is cause another massive debate on the name change.
It's not like they are part of the conspiracy. They just got it wrong. A polite message to explain their error would be more appropriate than "hammering" the board like a bunch of tards.
