I don't want to see this go to court, but read an excellent post on the F1 board about how a silver lining to it could be them finally sorting out this mess withg Masi and making sure it never happens again. There is no satisfactory end to all of this now, which is a shame for all concerned - probably to Max most of all.
Still confused. Will their be a written explanation of how and why Mercedes challenge on the safety car incident has been dismissed?
It remains to be seen if they follow through with the 2nd appeal to the FIA first. If they lose that and then choose to take it to court then for me that’s bonkers, but Wolfe doesn’t strike me as a good loser lol.
I don't think any of them are. I have no doubt in my mind that had Hamilton pitted for fresh tyres and was sitting second behind the safety car then Horner would be going down the exact same route if the decisions were followed in the same way. None of it is satisfactory. That isn't down to the teams or drivers. It's down to Masi.
Taking a barrister with you to this event shows a certain intent imo. I don’t like it, same as I’ve not liked their attitude at various points during the season when incidents have occurred. I’ve always been a fan of Lewis but I’ve seen a different side of both him and Merc this season, and ended up making me want to see them beaten.
I've gone off both Mercedes and Red Bull this season - especially Red Bull. Really hoping the new regs can see some new teams up there. Would love to see McLaren back on their game properly with Lando and Rici.
They need Masi ****ed off, not because of today but because he's weak as piss. They need to stop 2 way radio to the race director from all teams. 1 way decision making communication only.
