This weekend Hamilton has a new helmet with the Brazil flag on the top, plus a message which says "Thank you McLaren"
Whitmarsh echoes Lewis's comments? http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1...-s-2013-Mercedes-move-proves-just-a-gap-year- And Brawn comments on Lewis! http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1...ewis-Hamilton-when-he-joins-Mercedes-for-2013
Curiouser and curiouser but Lewis should be fighting for the title now, he has driven well enough; the team has let him down. Beyond that, I'm not sure what to think but it must be a huge emotional wrench for all of them.
The thing thats puzzling me most about Hamilton this weekend isn't the helmet, or the driving, it's his hair. What is going on with it? Looks like a Boyz II Men reject.
Didnt really know where to post this but felt it was more appropriate in this thread. For his part, Hamilton has accepted the loss of what could have been his final win in quite a while with good grace after Hulkenberg personally delivered an apology, but his CV will forever be tainted by the statistic that, over the course of their three years at team-mates, he was out-pointed by Jenson Button by a score of 672 to 657. http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1/news/22058/8285229/Conclusions-from-the-Brazilian-GP
Depends which camp you support, 2-1 to Lewis if you're a Lewis fan. Or 672 to 657 if you're a Jenson fan, either way both camps have a reason to smile Its been a great partnership and sad to see it end, but adds to the excitement and unpredictability of next season.
It should have been a great partnership, but for various reasons it never delivered the results it should have done.
Lewis to start early with Merc: http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1...ontact-with-Mercedes-before-January-1st-start
Well Hamilton's been written out of Tooned, that makes it official!
hmm, some ineresting comments from Hamilton and Whitmarsh, makes me think Hamilton will drive for McLaren again, could be a similar situation as Mansell Williams?
Wouldn't be too amazed if it happened by 2014 given some of the comments. Sounds like regrets all around.
I think Whitmarsh was spot on about why Hamilton signed when he did, the singapore race was where his WDC finally ended
