I honestly think he wants to be liked more, a bit like 07/08. So he's going to Merc knowing that if he thrashes Rosberg and get positions which he shouldnt get more people will like him, and think he's better than Vettel, who I think is getting on his nerves with his stats and stuff.
Just been reading this on Will Buxton's blog: http://willthef1journo.wordpress.com/2012/09/28/the-first-pieces-of-the-puzzle/ Here's a bit more on the Super Aguri link: http://willthef1journo.wordpress.com/tag/super-aguri/ A bit of a blow for Hamilton fans expecting a repeat of 2009 in 2014. Also leaves a bit of a sour taste that one of F1's biggest fairytales may have been more sinister behind the scenes, especially when you consider the amount of stick Nick Fry was getting in 2008, with people accusing him of doing everything in his power to get Super Aguri out of the sport, he was also responsible for Super Aguri's truck being turned away at the gates to the Turkish grand prix.
Tweetgate - the saga continues. http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1/news/12479/8147687/Hamilton-u-turns-on-Button-disrespect- I love his passsion but does have a tendency to jump the gun! "I saw him coming and I have a championship to fight for and he doesn't, " said Hamilton. "I thought that he was going to do a crazy manoeuvre, which he did. "Then [later] when he was behind me I saw it coming again so I moved a little to the inside, thinking that he was going to go up the inside so he couldn't get by, and he just flew down the outside of me. So very interesting." I though this was interesting aswell - not sure lewis can remember all of his own aggressive passes, Monza 2007 spring to mind, when Kimi had to get out of the 1st corner because a very late lunge from Lewis - interestingly Kimi went on to win the WDC that year! Lewis is no longer the young buck - I wonder how he feels about that?
The age where drivers did their talking on the track has gone. Sad. ****ing divas, get on with your jobs.
These last 3 years are the first time in ever that Schumacher had a car which wasnt developed 100% for him and got every bit of development first and had a teammate which would move over and better tyres than anyone else etc etc. His driving has done the talking. He's been worse than Massa. And that says stuff. If a rookie drove like him, he'd be gone in mid 2010.
What the hell has that got to do with anything. Honestly your sig comes handy in stopping me from debating with you.
As a big Silverarrows fan I would say Schumacher did outperform Rosberg this season, the points don't really show the actual result in my opinion. I would be very worried for Rosberg when Lewis gets in, as I do believe he will get replaced sooner than later if he doesn't keep up with him.
You said let the driving do the talking. Schumacher has proved over the last 3 years he is a piece of **** who cannot drive without crashing into people. He couldn't even beat an Aussie (they're known to crack under pressure at all moments) in a car which scored more points in China than they have all season. His driving over the last 3 years has done the talking is what I was telling you.
I don't need to repeat was Silver has said, and that is from a neutral (in this situation) RB-Mercedes fan.
Thought the BBC did a superb job of summing up Lewis's time with McLaren, I might sound sad but got quite emotional watching it! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/19861122
Why when the discussion is not even remotely about Schumacher do you feel the need to take that swipe?
Just so he can get at me personally, a cheap and well known tactic on this forum. Widely used by idiots that feel threatened by the comment made beforehand.
http://www1.skysports.com/formula-1...lton-twitter-row-evidence-of-McLaren-tension- The press conference should be interestin!
