    I wonder if Nico will beat Lewis as well as Schumacher? Will that make Nico the greatest driver of all time?

    Hay don't knock it, the Schumacher fans were feeling cocky until 2012 after Nico beat him 2 years running, same thing could happen to Lewis. I wont be sad though as long as they get my dear Silverarrows to the top, I don't care if they hate each other in the process to achieve it.

    Doesn't take a genius to point out that he hasn't actually ruled out a move to Mercedes, that he sounds fed up of the press speculation and wants to be left alone to focus on the championship run-in, and that once again it contains a subtle jab at Mclaren.

    They need stop asking him about this now. His answers are not going to change and until a contract is signed it's a waste of his and the journalists time asking the same questions.

    Joe Saward doesn't believe that Hamilton is seriously considering Mercedes. I think he's underestimating Mercedes, but after all the recent media speculation it's nice to see a different perspective on things.

    Yeah I saw that. I spoke to someone about this the other day and he said he remembered when Schumacher went to Ferrari in 96 and thinking it was a terrible idea So I can sort of see why Hamilton wants to do it. Is being a works team really going to help that much in 2014?

    That was originally my perspective on it too it has to be said... but if all Hamilton wanted to do was show he was willing to walk away then he would be talking about it publicly a lot more than he has been.
