Thought Euell was VERY poor today - Pritchard had an interesting time whilst on

    Job done.

Lovely finish by Pritchard and he looked really lively, too.

    Smith showed some fine touches.

Think Waggy was lucky to get up from that tackle, good job he just got airborne.

Solly MoM for me - dead right Haysey, what a great tackle.

    Back to business on Saturday...

Woh. Turned over to watch the racing at 1-0. Come back and it's 4-0. Hope you have a good draw in the next round.

Did Taylor win man of the match on Tele? Tom baker won it at the ground.

Three late goals put a gloss on a poor performance, especially from Euell and the midfield. Halifax were allowed far too much of the ball, and our back four shouldn't have been made to work as hard as they did against a sixth-tier side.

Pity the game came three weeks too early for Pritchard to play 90 minutes but I hope he will get his chance against Carlisle.

The most interesting things we learned from this was about the players who did not play.

If Alonso is not fit enough even to feature on the bench it looks as if we have signed another semi-permanent crock. He could be gone by the New Year.

And this game was made for Benson. He would have given a much better shape than Euell. The fact he wasn't picked suggests he will be on his way out even before the window, maybe on loan with view to a permanent transfer, like Francis. I would be sorry to see him go unless we sign someone at least as good and younger.

Rumour has it that Benson is on his way to Colchester (hopefully).
Good result today, these games are never that easy.

Very harsh scoreline for Halifax who dominated the second half until the last 10 minutes. On today's showing Smith has put himself ahead of Euell, Pritchard looks ready to take his place on the bench, and so does Evina. Anyone for Bromley on tuesday?

The score flattered us, but it was a professional performance. Taylor never was MOTM, as he doesn't give me the confidence at the back that Morrison does.

Was unimpressed by Hayes and Euell as a pair, they to me are both secondary strikers who drop off, when we needed someone with pace instead. I was dubious about re-signing Euell at the time, and nothing about his performances since have made me change my mind. The 2 strikers kept losing the ball as well. Benson would have been a better option that Euell.

Evina looked good going forward, the ITV commentators spotted Jackson's class on the ball. Pritchard and Smith came on at a good time, but both made a good impression, Pritchard looks to me the first decent non league signing we've made in a long long time.

i thought Taylor bossed it today, was always in the thick of things today, Jackson some class balls, Euell, nah, was useless. Solly class tackles, was a bit troubled by the left winger who came on as sub. Hayes he needs someone quick with him, not Euell, I liked Smith in his little Cameo nice touches and cross for Pritchard.

As much as we moan about risking BWP I think it was good because it might make clubs look at him less now he is cup tied :) but good game, would have wanted more pressure on Halifax seeing that they had around 65% possession.

we definately lacked pace and guile up front that bwp and kermit provided, i thought we missed green a little bit as well as wiggins, though evina did well
