Why are you talking about ridiculing RR, we all know what you and RR are about. You are out of order telling Mike what, and not what, to think eg 'Mike just goes with who comments here loud enough'.

Just in case you hadn't noticed ROD I made a commitment not to criticise this season and have stayed on that track. You are correct that my day to day knowledge is based on the media and some writers on this forum and yet I try to keep a intelligent mind in my comment and not go overboard with criticism which I have little insight in to,based on my location. I am not intending to bite your head off ROD because clearly it is lodged firmly up some rear part of your anatomy. P.S. 6 weeks in Mexico to recover from the abuse.
Have to say I'm sitting on the fence of half empty and half full.. Our display against the top teams have shown we are not competing well enough to be considered as potential candidates for promotion, with the provisor..... at the moment. BUT our results this season against teams in the championship last year 11 games- apart from Cardiff 0-0 2-1, we have bettered last season's results.. Nottm Forest WW Blackburn 0-2 1-0, Leeds L 2-1, Derby 2-3 1-1, even Brighton 0-4 0-2, away Fulham 1-2 0-4, QPR 1-0 1-0, Birmingham 4-2 1-0, Rotherham 3-0 2-2, Sheff Wed 2-0 3-2.........6 points better off than last season against corresponding fixtures/....... OK then I'm convinced ....will finish just outside the top 6...so that is a half full glass. BUT we do need to be more defensive savvy. close down opposition attackers quicker..and going forward give more options particularly wide for the player with the ball.....more variations with corners.have we scored from a corner this season?......just some of my own thoughts.. apologies to john galley for flagrant abuse of statistics.

I went to Mexico this summer. It was my 50th so the wife said I could go anywhere I wanted to. She then gave me a list of places so I think it was my choice? Loved it there, I don't normally like going to the same place twice as the worlds a big place but apart from New York it's a place I would be definitely be going back to.
Stayed in the Rui Palace Mexico in Playa Car, but loved it fantastic resort and being a Rui Palace all waiter service around the pool and beach.
RR if you do go and Mike if you've not done it and on the east side of Mexico then Coco Bongos is a fantastic night out. It's like a theme nightclub come show it's just fantastic and ought to be seen. I told a women from work to see it and she said it's not her thing but went and sent me a personal email the next day, thanking me for recommending it.
I am going to San Jose del Cabo on the Baja peninsula which is on the west coast. I am renting a condo from a friend and there's no jet lag.
My mum had a timeshare on the west side in Puerto Vallarta but I never got to use it. My brother loved it when he went but I was over in her Spanish apartments sorting out stuff for her. Guess my brother got the better deal on that one but at least I was regular in the Spanish ones where's he only got one trip.
