I saw that "When you are in possession of facts then let's have a chat." as he said!!!! im amazed no one has posted that court report on twitter yet and confronted him about it The judge said "On my conclusions in the application for immediate judgment, the Defendant acted dishonestly in misappropriating money from the Claimant. But more than that, he sought to defend the claim against him with explanations which I considered to be lacking in credibility and a concoction...... In my opinion, his dishonest conduct and his conduct in relation to the claim brought against him was inappropriate and unreasonable, to the level of taking the case out of the norm." im sure it was just an isolated incident and totally out of character though
I still smell something fishy going on regarding that case, something still doesn't sound right. Let's not forget GFH were rorting LUFC even when Haigh was imprisoned.
If this year has thought us one thing, Leeds united will be around long after the Haighs, gfhs, bates of this world have disappeared. They all did their best to wreck the club and failed. MOT 2017
How can you trust any judgement in a country where a woman is charged with an 'extra marital affair' when she reports a rape, and her attackers fly home 5 hours later? She faces possible stoning to death, and they get to show their video of the event to their mates. Justice? No, and it's a regular event. Sets the tone for their legal system. Whether Haigh was guilty or not, he was prevented from having basic human rights & jailed without trial. So a document from their Judiciary does nothing to reassure me that the correct decision was reached. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-38013351 http://www.express.co.uk/news/world...or-extra-marital-affair-after-Dubai-gang-rape
Btw, Belmont, I'm not sure whether I should welcome you to the zoo, or question who you are. No posts, then a burst supporting the GFH case. I remember a chap called Melas posting on Waccoe, but we all knew it was Salem Patel. Hence I'm a bit twitchy when I see apparent GFH support.
Hope I don't get confused with a gah supporter. My attitude towards the lot of them is you swim with sharks and you'll eventually get bitten. Thankfully none of them have any influence on our club
LOL. Not at all - I personally have no idea what the truth is, and I most certainly do not expect to hear it from the court proceedings in that country.
Still struggle to see how a bloke with not much cash except a bit of savings and good salary, can fund £1m to lend the club and then find more money to try and buy the club from GFH.
I think it's a secret we'd all like to find out, Doc! I think the basic mechanics possibly went like this: Moneylender: £1m? You do realise we'll charge you 3% interest, sir? DH: No problem, I'll be getting 13% from Leeds Moneylender: Nice work if you can get it, sir, but I think that might be too risky for us. DH: No need to worry, just draw us up a legal document so I get paid back first if anything goes wrong. Moneylender: I'm sorry, sir, but only a fool would sign such a document. DH: It's GFH that own Leeds now, need I say any more? Moneylender: Just sign here sir, & let me know if they need any more loans.
Does beg the question, If GFH had all the facts and documents, why did they leave him in prison for so long? they didn't seem to be in any hurry to try and recoup their money.
Bellmont all new posters are very welcome. But to randomly reopen a subject that was last discussed months ago is really weird. Now i agree with what you are saying but want to know your interest as it all looks a bit odd.... How did you find us? Are you an employeee of GFH? Are you employed in a legal capacity? From what area of the world are you posting? We have to be careful as some who read this site will believe anything. Some even voted Brexit and still support it!
Brizzy will be pleased old enough to be legal, young enough to be still tight. Not many 16 year olds would be sad enough to be posting here on NYE and bright enough to cite UAE legal documens.....
Maybe at last we're attracting intelligent posters. God knows it's taken long enough and an improvement on the wally brigade
