Swansea, who they should beat, but will they, there is a list of teams they should have beat in the past, but did'nt,the Swans are getting dangerously near the relegation places,so will be up for it,and play the sort of game that could upset the goons, who are not playing well,we would have beaten them with Swansea's strikers
If Arsenal continue their astonishingly consistent thirty game pattern--really, multi-year pattern--of getting 80-90% of the points against teams below them, and none of the points against teams above them, they'll keep fourth comfortably. Swansea is a good bellwether. If the last loss has put them in disarray, or if Swansea can come up with a great game as they did last year at the Emirates, then fourth may come back into play. As it stands, I'm assuming it's not unless and until we close the difference significantly in the next 2-3 weeks--and even then will have to keep in mind that Everton are ahead of us in ppg.
Arsenal for 7th. Look at the "rival watch" thread from a few months back. When they were top, their fans were saying it would be different this time because their defence was solid. We scoffed at them and said things would unravel quickly once they entered that tough run of fixtures in the second half of the season and the defence was given the runaround. You didn't need to be Mystic Meg. Nothing has changed. £42M to strengthen the team in its strongest area. Not a penny on a suspect defence or a lack of depth up front.
