Never fails to amuse when Bedevere starts unveiling the plan and then realises that they should have been inside the horse
Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say Ni at will to old ladies. There is a pestilence upon this land, nothing is sacred. Even those who arrange and design shrubberies are under considerable economic stress in this period in history.
Come again medieval man? Who cares about Pearson getting sacked anyway, all he deserves for leaving us in the lurch, I said at the time he'd get fired at the end of the season anyway, might not happen but will happen soon enough after if not.
neither will happen and leicester will be in the prem at the end of next season. however they will be down again the following year in as bad a financial situation as we, bradford, portsmouth,, etc, etc
Correct spot on. Now he has the same job but on a much larger scale to do at Lesta. NP biggest problem is that Warren Joyce is still batting for Hull City. NP can look at many bargains @ Wolverhampton, Portsmouth and Derby for example. Dont see Lesta doing much next season either short of a miracle happening.!!!
Without the Man Utd contact, we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are now. So it'll be interesting to see who targets this summer.
Can see a few managers looking for employment this summer, after getting the dreaded p45 - luckily Barmby will not be one of them. If Pearson is one of them, so be it - but he knew what he was getting himself into when he left a club who would have given him a few years of rebuilding the squad to go to one which seems to want instant success.
We'll see when the season starts, but I expect Leicester to be one of the favourites for promotion next season.
I would suggest with the success that we have had with Man Utd kids that Hull City will be in pole position for anymore than become available. In Warren Joyce we trust over there.!!!
Agreed. They were this season along with West Ham and look whats happened. But it always seams that whoever spends the most gets the favs tag. How much did Reading spend last summer ? and in the windows as an example to those who think that money is the answer ?
They were gonna be up at the end of this year weren't they? Along with West Ham? You never know mussie! I don't think there actually is a connection as such. NP liked the way United taught their young players and United liked the way we looked after them so we just kept going back for more. NP still likes them which is why he's gone back for Drinkwater and clearly NB agrees with him and has carried on by signing King. There isn't any formal link, just that we like their players and they trust us with them.
There is definitely a connection, Joyce keeps us in the loop, but, which I have also read is that Barmby has been informing us as well. Regarding Drinkwater I heard on the Leicester board that NP didn't fancy him even when he was with us. However, Walsh was very impressed and managed to persuade him. I have no idea if it's all true, but it makes sense.
