one link to a very different scottish game a couple of years ago??????? So as per usual you provided feck all!
Not many examples of teams going down to 9 men Terrif so not many examples to go off. I found 3 aswell though the River Plate game was a game where the 9 men eventually won on penalties so lets not count that one. It will probably burst a few capillaries in your eyes if we do. Sheff U came back to snatch a draw v Scunny with 9 men though. 2010 I think. I seem to remember real being in a situation where they have won with 9 men. Cant recall if they were winning and had 2 sent off or not though. Feel free to get stressed out over it though
You still waffling on, so how many of these games were they down by a goal after 91 minutes? PS who's stressed, i am now 3/4 pissed and laughing at your nonsense eg "I seem to remember real being in a situation where they have won with 9 men. Cant recall if they were winning and had 2 sent off or not though." What is that even supposed to mean?
Since Liverpool were not involved in this game, I couldn't give a ****. The only bit I'm interested in (and why I'm commenting) is with Torres' ban. Am I right in thinking two yellows is a one game ban rather than three (straight red?)...? One game = cup game against Man Utd (queue further corrupt suggestions). Three game = possibly involves us (now you can see my interest)
You were done no doubt. United found better ways than spending to win leagues Last time was it webb and 2 dodgy pens Talk about simulation, did you see young when Ivanovic brushed him, threw himself flying through the air.
My biggest problem was Ivanovic had far less contact then Evans, and got a red card, where the opposite way, more contact and booked for diving. UIR talks about consistency, I don't see it...
Ivanovich was no way a red! Torres possibly should have gone for his first 'yellow', his second was NOT a card! Ridiculous, both decisions!
Right. Either both were fouls, or both were dives. Ivanovic only touched Young when Young threw his leg back. Not to mention, it's Young. Who dives. Every ****ing time someone comes near him. I just played a Sunday league game against someone like that today. Showed him a real foul and told him I'd do it again if he didn't stop diving. Lo and behold, he stopped. Just got to show them what actually hurts. Point is, though, Clattenburg screwed up twice. Wasn't a foul on Young, wasn't a dive by Torres. Both should've just played on.
The way I look at this is, you can win league trophies by buying the best players and look back with a sense of pride. You can win leagues by playing and grinding out results and looking back with a sense of pride - Both of which do not question your own integrity. Then you can win leagues by using methods of conning referee's, taking advantage of (alleged) corrupt officials, and when you look back, do you feel a sense of pride or do you sit there in your old people's home and feel guilt knowing you weren't actually good enough to have competed at the top of the league with fair playing teams? Every team has players who will dive and con the referee, Liverpool have a few but the decisions don't go our way. Cheslea have had players who have done it and they have been made to pay the price...Then there are other teams who get the decisions week in week out. Whatever the reasoning behind yesterdays appalling officiating, inconsistency cannot be claimed. To draw comparison to the two games I watched, one team in red won their game thanks to a goal that clearly came from an off side position, where as another team in red had a winning goal ruled out for off-side. This has to stop but I honestly don't see it happening anytime soon, and that is simply because the FA are to protective over what they claim to be 'their' game. It is not their game, they are merely custodians overseeing the game for the people! This is something that must be addressed and soon because, it is not just the players who are ruining the game, but the very people at the top!
I haven't even heard Chelsea fans say it wasn't a foul or a red. It was pretty simple really. Only you and a few of your fellow Anti United fans ( I'll call you this as you love to hate United more than you love your own club ) could come out with this ****
is it not time the 19 other teams start up their own league and leave United with the prem all to themselves, that way they can win every game. This is turning actual fans away and mopping up glory hunting twats that couldnt care if the game is rigged. Premiers League football = WWE Wrestling No wait, wrestlers actually do put their bodies on the line
50% of United points in the league this year is ref assistance. It is truly shocking and pretty much obvious but no one will actually take them on, that's the actual problem. Riley, you did it again
UIR Last time webb gave you two nice penos. Clutterbug did fk all till chelsea equalised and then he started taking action Torres never a yellow. Young dives yet again. Never a red card. Your club are corrupt stealing robbing cheating lying tramps that have influence over ref assignments and decisions and now you got auld Gill in there to boot. Yep, this is how you deal with teams with better players since you stopped being that team years ago. Far far too many dodgy decisions JUST when united need them. Who'll do anything about it, only someone who wont care about taking hits from Fergie's cronies, someone that doesnt care about career. Not likely that they'll be challenged.
Torres never a yellow? I'll grant you that, he should have been sent off earlier. Young dived Wrong it was a straight red. Are you blind lad? He was clearly trip and it was a clear professional foul.
As mentioned previously in another thread, incidents like this call for video referees. They are only human after all but as a result they are open to scrutiny over some dubious calls. United tend to be lucky for some reason.Refs bought or otherwise id bet most teams would want that sort of assistance.
So the day after the Merseyside derby the main topic of conversation in a number of threads on the Liverpool board is the Chelsea v United game. You clowns really should focus on your own shambles!
Since David Gill became the vice chairman of the fa the corruption has reached another level. They don't even bother trying to hide it any more with both Liverpool and Chelsea being robbed blind in their own grounds now. Shameful.
